The Church of Saint Mary - The Immaculate Conception is located in Derby, Connecticut.
The massive brick structure with its Gothic-styled pointed arches and great rib vaulting has been praised in for over 125 years.
Although the church building has much history within its walls, the parish community is vibrant and focused on the next 125 years.
Located on the grounds of the church were a convent and elementary school. Both were demolished and never replaced, but the school had been relocated just a few short blocks away in the 1950's. Click below to enter the school site.
In 2009 a new rectory was built alongside the church to replace the original rectory that had burned down several years ago.
